What?Daybreak Toastmasters is a local chapter of Toastmasters International, an organization founded in 1924 and dedicated to giving people the opportunity to develop leadership and communication skills. Whether you are working to enhance presentation skills for your career, build leadership experience, or simply enhance your interpersonal skills, Daybreak Toastmasters provides an environment to help you succeed and grow based on your goals. Who?You will find a welcome and open environment with a variety of experience levels from beginners to seasoned speakers, and a great mix of backgrounds, with occupations ranging from student to CEO. We would love to have you join us and add your unique experiences to our club! Meet our members.
 
How?Members are given the opportunity to develop and improve their public speaking abilities through local club meetings, training seminars and speech contests. A Daybreak Toastmasters meeting consists of 15-20 people and lasts about 90 minutes. Each meeting provides the opportunity to practice conducting effective meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluations in a safe and encouraging environment.
